What’s your go to predator rifle?

Looks like it's working for ya. Welcome to PM.

What caliber, bo?
it was a 5.56 / 223, now it has a wilson combat 20" super sniper barrel in .223 wylde.
if i do my part it can shoot 1/2 group at 200 yards with federal factory 53 grain v-max

Can't beat thet. My old Bushmaster Predator shoots like that. Only improvement I made on it was when the 2 stage factory trigger began to act up I put a 3# Timney SS in it. Don't remember for sure, either an 8 or 9" twist.
If you reload you might try the 55 gr NBT & H335. This load is a tad above listed maximum but dosn't show any excessive pressure in my rifle.

This was @ 100; then my hunting partner sat down and shot an exact mirror image of this 5 shot group except his would have overlapped my group but on the right side of the vertical center line.

I have/had several .223's and all of them were either 1:8 or 1:9 twist; just don't remember which was which. Either ones handled my favorite coyote bullet, the .223 NBT well and that bullet works well on hogs & deer w/careful placement, as well.

I like to use a Tikka Lite 22-250 with a Burris XTR II 3-15 and a CZ 527 223 with a Leupold 3-10. I just got a Browning BAR DBM through some trading and finagling. I'm starting out with a Burris RT-6 on it and will see how it goes. All except the BAR are left handed. Just need to get out and see something to howl at.

-------What ever rifle i have with me when I see a predator, that's my favorite for sure. Murl B.
Yep, I've shot coyotes with everything from 375 h&h to 222 but never w/anything w/o rifling in the barrel. A few of the close ones I've wished I had a shotgun in my hands, just not often enough to convince me to carry a shotgun.

Tikka 22-250, compact model, Leupold 4 x 12, Tikka ctr .223, Leupold 4-12... 55 grain bullets out of the 22-250, the ctr, 50 grain... all hand loads, the 22- 250 is my go-to rifle!!

30:06 180 grain bullets and a trigger stick tripod. No .22 cal etc. rifles allowed in the woods during big game season, only big game rifles so for now it's the 30:06

But to be honest I'm black bear hunting and if a coyote shows up I'm allowed to dump him which is my predator hunting basically
