Ohio Roll Call

Southwestern, ohio near indiana border. Hammered a yote 3weeks ago on a farm I hunt that is loaded with coyotes. They are just hard to be able to get them to come to the call.

hi Im just starting to fox/coyote hunt this year. Anyone on here hunt Vinton County, Ohio and done good? Im probably gonna be hunting Vinton Furnace State Forest since it is maybe 5 minutes from me and Zaleski SF is about 15. Hope to learn some more about hunting on here. Also does anyone know of anyone that buys fur in southeast ohio ive done some trapping and caught a few fox, a coyote, and some coon but usually kept the furs and hung them in the house or given them to friends but i would like to start selling them.

Went out bout 2 weeks ago Sunday at night. Called in 3, shot and missed. Went to another spot, stepped into a field, seen 2 in the FLIR PS32 running away from me, thought what the heck I'd go ahead and call the field anyhow. Walked about 400 yards along a fence row set up. Bout 45 min later, here comes one trying to pull the sneak attack crawling on his belly down a row of corn stalks to the call. Would've never seen him with the pvs14, he couldn't hide from the FLIR PS32. I yelled at him and he stuck his head up out of the corn row. Laid him out @ 125 yards. Bout a 40# male, completely infested with ticks.

Good deal! I can't afford that night hunting gear. Just flashlights for me.

Working my butt off, taking care of parents, getting some peace on the lathe every now and then. LOL!

We need to have a 'shoot 'em up ' this year. The pictures from the last one still pop up on my screen saver.

How's ole' Rob doing? He get kidnapped by gypsies? Miss hearing from him.

Greetings Ohio boys !
