I'd settle for some brat from the store. Lol. I'll talk to rob and see if I can talk him into getting a shoot together.

Yeah, there's quite a few. I've not been out nearly as much as I wanted too.

Squad just went down 23 a few minutes ago. Coyotes lit up on the hill. I could listen to them all night. They sounded like they were on the top by the old tree farm

I have been fishing a lot the last few months and haven't really noticed any ticks(luckily) I have noticed a bumper crop of skeeters though.

I have been seeing ticks since last deer season and that was at the end of November. they have been bad around here. we had a local farmer die as a result of several tick bites earlier this year.

I shot 1 back bout 1st of June or so, bet he had 50-60 ticks on him, been chilly in the mornings, mayb the frost has then all gone LOL, but it hasnt knocked the skeeters off. In all seriousness, what ticks I've seen have been bout half the size of normal, and biting leaving welts, for some reason not latching on

I got into them last weekend. The yote I shot was loaded with them.

I brushed his fur back with a stick and the fleas and ticks were everywhere. Nasty.

I use some stuff called 'Repel Permanone'. It's a clothing treatment, not for use on skin. It is a tick 'killer', not a repellant. I hit my boots, sock tops, and pants with it.

Then a light shot of 'Off' to keep them away.

The 'Off' repels them, and if any get past it the 'Repel' will nuke them.

I spend a lot of time in tick country every year, and it's been so many years since I picked one up that I can't remember the last time. My cabin buds who don't spray up will pick up a couple every time we go out.

For what it's worth,

Rudy

PS: Any tick that bites Terry would never eat meat again. I actually saw a tick jump OFF him and it was gagging...

My Son and I were headed home from fishing about 1.30 this morning and seen a coyote go running across the road and into some bushes, semi-rare sight for the burbs, I was excited anyway cause I swerved my truck over and pointed the head lights into the area he ducked into, probably not a very smart thing to do at that time of night considering they just had a check point set up there a week ago.

I have had lymes disease from deer tick bite. BAD STUFF let me tell ya. Easy tick removal - any liquid dish soap / just pour some over tick wait a few minutes , rub counter clockwise around tick and will come right off. If you don't know how long tick was burrowed in get to Dr. should get anti biotics like Doxycycline for 20 days , the sooner the treatment the better. I went about 1 year looking for diagnosis , thought I was gonna die ! 1 1/2 years of large amounts of antibiotics including 5 months of iv antibiotics. Check for ticks on yourself EVERTIME you come home.
