got a bunch of them between my self and friends/family shooting group.
for the most part they are quite decent for the price. are they amazing - no. but again bargin priced product. i dont expect perfection - just reasonable accuracy and consistent functionality.
have seen a couple small issues - one of the 450 bm uppers had extractor problems. looks like bad heat treat (2x of them folded in). bca took care of it every time, no questions asked (other than Proof of purchase).
i had a Grendel sude charger that the handguard screws were so torqued on that i broke an bit in the screw trying to extract it with my ¼" impact. again they not only replaced the upper, but upgraded me to the next nicer version (16" parklerized to 18" melonite) since the version i had purchased was OOS. it was just a donor upper so whatever - which is why i was trying to take the handguard off - but still nice of them to step up. thats got my 6mm arc barrel in it these days.
now mind you... thats two examples out of 35-40 uppers - ar15, ar10, ar9mm - that i personally know ownership of. the rest have been boringly normal. take em out of the box, pin them on a lower, add sights and ammo. pull trigger, go bang.
i have a 223 wyld and a 5.56 upper, both side chargers, that i originally bought as donors for different barrels (because i mean.. too cheap to say no to) that i should have never taken out and shot because they were just donor actions - but i did and now i have a 20" stainless 223 wylde upper and a 18" melonite 5.56 upper that i never planned to own but they shoot too well to just turn the barrels into tomato stakes.
most of the uppers in our shooting friends group are around MOA with good ammo, some amazingly accurate. cousin has a 350L that prints cloverleaf's at 100 and quarter size groups at 200 with Winchester 150gr poly tips (deerseason XP). good friend has a 18" 450 bm that shoots a dirty hole at 100, and 2" groups out at 300 with hornady black.
