BCA?

I have a 7.62x39 and a .450 Bushmaster. They both shoot really good and honestly that 7.62x39 is crazy accurate considering what it is. That's not a cartridge you generally put in the same sentence with the word accurate but it is. I shot a 3 shot group a month ago using 123 grain Wolf HP's and two bullets went through the same hole at 100 yards. I could have covered the group up with a dime easily. They're both side charging uppers. I'm impressed with them no more than they cost me.

Was that impressive group for the 7.62x39 a fluke? Maybe but hey I was happy with it.

Have had .556 and 7.62x39 uppers.
The 7.62x39 was moa with handloads out of the box. 1.25- 1.50 with russian ammo.
The first .556 was bad accuracy with any ammo.
They took care of it within 2 weeks, about moa.
I'm looking at getting one in 6 ARC, they just been out of stock on the one I want.
They answered my email quick when I had an issue. However, never an responce when emailing asking about product info.
I have sent multiple emails about product availability and never had one response.

I bought a Palmetto ar10 in 308,i never fired it for over a year. so i swapped barrel out with a bca 243 barrel
it shoots 75v max reloaded well. i think i am gonna go back to a bolt gun. It will be up for sale soon

I just ordered the 22 magnum upper for a coon calling gun. I did forget to apply the 10% off so it was an extra $20 but that is on me. I will report back when we get it

Man the 22-250 uppers are tempting but they get pretty bad reviews. But I am sitting on a bunch of 22-250 from the walmart clearance days and would like to get an upper for it

I wouldn’t the 250 is not made to run out of those magazines. Too much case taper. Get the 243. The ar10 was made to run the 308 the 243 is a necked down 308.

A buddy bought a 24 inch BCA 22 250 and I did need to drill the gas port to get it to cycle right. If you stamped Shilen or Krieger on the barrel and somebody shot it they would be willing to give good money for it. Just can't load a mag up with more than 7 rounds.

got a bunch of them between my self and friends/family shooting group.

for the most part they are quite decent for the price. are they amazing - no. but again bargin priced product. i dont expect perfection - just reasonable accuracy and consistent functionality.

have seen a couple small issues - one of the 450 bm uppers had extractor problems. looks like bad heat treat (2x of them folded in). bca took care of it every time, no questions asked (other than Proof of purchase).

i had a Grendel sude charger that the handguard screws were so torqued on that i broke an bit in the screw trying to extract it with my ¼" impact. again they not only replaced the upper, but upgraded me to the next nicer version (16" parklerized to 18" melonite) since the version i had purchased was OOS. it was just a donor upper so whatever - which is why i was trying to take the handguard off - but still nice of them to step up. thats got my 6mm arc barrel in it these days.

now mind you... thats two examples out of 35-40 uppers - ar15, ar10, ar9mm - that i personally know ownership of. the rest have been boringly normal. take em out of the box, pin them on a lower, add sights and ammo. pull trigger, go bang.

i have a 223 wyld and a 5.56 upper, both side chargers, that i originally bought as donors for different barrels (because i mean.. too cheap to say no to) that i should have never taken out and shot because they were just donor actions - but i did and now i have a 20" stainless 223 wylde upper and a 18" melonite 5.56 upper that i never planned to own but they shoot too well to just turn the barrels into tomato stakes. 🤷‍♂️

most of the uppers in our shooting friends group are around MOA with good ammo, some amazingly accurate. cousin has a 350L that prints cloverleaf's at 100 and quarter size groups at 200 with Winchester 150gr poly tips (deerseason XP). good friend has a 18" 450 bm that shoots a dirty hole at 100, and 2" groups out at 300 with hornady black.
