Hunting coyotes with hounds

BULLARKY! What debate? When you & a handful of other know it alls. Stoop below grade. TRYING to diminish another hunter's experiences & views. Debate my a**! Childish droning & hammering, name calling. That is what bullying yappers spew forth!
So which one is it Joe?

Is it:

"I share my experiences & opinions. Whether anyone agrees or not. Am I looking for a debate? h*ll no. I could care less what any porch yapper has to say."

Or is it:

"BULLARKY! What debate? When you & a handful of other know it alls. Stoop below grade. TRYING to diminish another hunter's experiences & views. Debate my a**!"

To put it simply, you are a walking contradiction. Ideas are proven in the fire of debate. The scientific process is to propose an idea, and then it's everyone else's job in the community to shoot holes in it. If they can't, then it must be accepted as the current best understanding. If they can shoot holes in it, then it doesn't hold up and it's discarded. You want to sit in your rocking chair and spin yarns. The problem is that many of us have been at this for decades as well, and we know bullshit when we smell it. You also hold yourself above everyone else, like you hold some superior knowledge and that we should all sit in a circle and listen to you talk. The problem is that there are a handful of people here that hold that distinction, and you'll never see them act that way. Guys with 5 or 6 decades of coyote killing experience, and they don't act like you do. They also don't make ridiculous claims, declarations that can be easily disproven, nor would they ever state that they are so much smarter than everyone else that they won't be debated. You are the only one. You could change today, right now. You could stop. You could actually contribute in a way that isn't filled with contention and bullshit, and you'd be accepted. I think you want to argue. I think you're a bored old man with nothing happening in your life, and you come here for the sole purpose of starting arguements, and we all see it.

I'm an old man & your views of me are off mark. I post my experiences/observations & views. Based upon what I have seen in the wild. Which are twofold, when I do make a post. Is to inform the young coyote hunter. As well as draw out what others(who think so highly of themselves). To draw out, what they actually know or CLAIM to know. Arguments? Nope. The know it alls, soon chime in on me & start calling me names. Because I refuse to bow down to them & "their Worldly knowledge/views of ALL things coyote". As IF...they have had my same experiences. As well as the few thousand + coyotes I have observed in the wild. "I observed most all of them to learn their behaviors". Try that, you will learn more than you can imagine. OR...think you know currently.

Now try as you might. Get back onto my post. Hunting coyotes with hounds....

Get the hint? Hint of what? The FACT some of you know it alls. Have NOT seen/experienced what I have.

Some of you, have a pack mentality for whatever reason. So you pack members decide to make an "example of me?" Really??? That is laughable! Some of YOU are envious of me & my experiences. That YOU have not seen or experienced the things I have hunting wild canines.

Stay on topic. Rather than spew forth your BS rants on me. Lets hear all about YOUR hound hunting experiences.

I’ll give it a shot and see where it goes.

I have zero personal experience with hounds on coyotes. I kept and ran beagles on rabbit and hare for about 20 years and thoroughly enjoyed hearing them run. To the point that shooting the rabbit was left to others. I was there to hear the race.

I had a few opportunities to follow some great coon hounds around with friends that were heavily invested in that sport.

I knew some guys that were into hounds for coyotes. It didn’t really interest me based on discussions I had with a couple of the guys. Basically they’d cut the hounds on a track and then drive around the block and radio back and forth to each other about the progression of the race. Jump out of a vehicle and try to position for a shot. Problem with that here in NY is that hounds can’t read posted signs or know property lines. Not every landowner appreciates guys randomly entering their property and shooting animals. A lot of the hound guys had an arrogant attitude about them, in that they didn’t care about boundaries or landowner rights.

I also know that one of the respectful hound guys, that actually would go out of his way to do things right, had his best dog shot by a young guy in the hunting group. Kid got excited and saw a “coyote” break cover and shot. How you mistake a Bluetick for a coyote is beyond my ability to reason out, but it happened.

So, in summary, you have the most experience, know everything, and we are all envious of not only your experiences, but also just you in general.

Got it. I'm glad I didn't misunderstand you before.

Not even close. In summation; You & your omega followers. Have not had my experiences. That frustrates you. So in your childish & bullying ways. Hammer away on me.

Take your advice and show some pictures of you with those hounds and some dead coyotes. What breed of hounds, what sort of firearms were used, and did the hounds kill the coyotes, or did the hunters shoot the coyotes? Pictures, everyone likes pictures. You like to post pictures, let's see some of you and these hounds with a kill. Or, just keep spewing gack.

Well, "walks wind in his face". I have shown 1 pic of a stag hound I owned. I have another pic of a greyhound I owned but have not shown a pic of him. It's been many yrs since I hunted with hounds. The hounds men I hunted with. Took very few pics of the dog kills back in those days. They weren't braggards like some on here. Those hunts occurred back in the early 60's into the early 70's. You & your sidekicks are not hounds men. Otherwise you would state that. Instead you & your pack of ranters. Just rant on me. In every forum I post in. So in summation; Go gc yourselves.

So, no pics from your decades of hound hunting? Interesting.

And you're a subject matter expert, teaching the young guys what it's all about. But.... you can't even prove you've ever killed a coyote with hounds? That's interesting. I like how you use periods. It's like when you're driving and a deer jumps out in the road in front of you, and you have to slam on your breaks. Just mid thought, bam, new sentence.

I asked honest questions. I gave you a chance to show some pics of successful hunts. Instead, you deflect and resort to name-calling and won't answer questions or give us a picture of you and a successful hunt. Why?

Nothing I say or post. Will never be enough for you & your follower antagonists. So pound sand, "walks with wind in his face".

I never took any pics back when we hunted with hounds. The houndsmen I hunted with took a few pics & that is it. Of course that doesn't cut it now does it. Mr. Silver & Black = Blue. lol!

What I have shown is many pics of both Red Fox & coyote behaviors. Everyone of those canines that is bedded down. Has the wind at it's backside. So young hunters. Understand walking into an area with the wind in their face. Should be the very last tactic used. Because a bedded canine up ahead. Stands a very good chance of seeing that hunter coming from a long ways out.
