Red Lechwe, native of marshlands in south central Africa. Bucks can reach a weight of 260#, the does are a bit lighter. They seek shelter from predattors in knee deep marshes and flooded grasslands and their split hooves are several inches long to help prevent sinking into the muddy terrain.

Blackbuck, native of India. Male are dark brown weigh up to 120#, females can reach 75# both females and young males are brown. These are far fewer blackbuck on ranches I hunt than any of the other species.
