the number one impediment to successful predator calling

We are hunting as uninvited guest at there dining table…I like to keep it simple… I carry bare minimum to get the job done. Wind and movement are key objectives to my setup. KISS RULE APPLIES. Side note,, retrieving these 4 legged muts.. makes a man weary.. no unnecessary gear…’ Ifedell 762 is spot on in the straight line placement of calling devices. The experience on this web site is the key to harvesting fur and growing your “ port folio!!!

You used the term successful predator calling, so in that same vein I would suggest that not many successful predator callers are too concerned with "visual pollution". Simply because the basics of a good approach and set up for those individuals minimize that concern. Yes, we all bump coyotes on occasion. If you call much, it is inevitable.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion but I would disagree that it is the number 1 detriment to "successful" calling.
Drones are also illegal here.
Now, if you're asking if this would be a profitable venture, my father and I were almost begged by my uncle to invest $5000 each in Kansas Cellular in it's infancy and we decided
there was no way that cell phones would ever be for anyone but the wealthy. So I wouldn't take my advice on that one!

here is what i copied from the 2025 fish and game book.
Hunt or shoot at any animal from an aircraft or drone or fly an aircraft in any manner that causes any non-domesticated animal to move from its place of rest or change its direction of travel. i will call fish and game tomorrow for clarity.

I've got plenty of stuff to tote around without thinking about taking a drone and 5lbs of xtra batteries, it would be a no for me. We're all going to get busted once in awhile and there's no way to know how many times we get busted and never know it. Wiley coyote :)

I’m sure that we are busted when setting up to call, many more times than we know. We just don’t see the coyote running away, or laying low and ignoring the call.

The drone is a unique concept and an innovative concept that could possibly be sold to young or inexperienced hunters that are desperate for a kill. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone pay thousands for a drone caller to still have less success than an old school hunter that uses cheap hand calls and a 22-250. The 6.5 creedmore, 224 valkyrie, 22 ARC are proof enough that fools will buy anything with creative advertising even though it shoots like a rainbow and a dope chart is needed. These tacticool guys are trying to figure drop long after the animal has gone home. I'm sick of hearing about "down range performance " when we all know it is unethical to attempt shots past 300 yards.

Otherwise if people had a better understanding of wind and scent cones their success would increase. Why are they stomping all around placing the call further away thus making additional scent trails? A coyote has good hearing and they are 4 wheel drive, why not have them come to you rather than stomping around out in the open?

Jeez we have thermals, electronic calls and rifles. How much easier does it need to be? Seems like these gadgets are taking all of the sport away.... these are just my opinions because participation awards weren't a thing in my childhood lol.

Next thing your going to want, critter seeking bullet, dial your quarry and fire it in the air. There is a point where it goes from hunting to just killing.

Sometimes I think it would have been better to have stopped at flintlocks with patched round balls and natural material calls

After this, they will want to do it from their laptop at home.

Coyote hunting should be hard. That is what makes it interesting. Heck, if I see a coyote in the wild or walking to my stand, I don't shoot it. I figure I didn't earn it by fooling his sight and senses.
