Hey guys,
I"m new to the forum and I'm from the Dayton, Ohio area. I'm an experienced hunter but no expert on coyote and would like to find some experience dog hunters to hunt with. I'm going to China soon for a month but I'll be back Feb. 3rd and I'll be itching to do some hunting. I am heading to Adams County Friday night to hunt fox and coyote before I leave. I seen a couple nice looking coyotes during deer season so I thought I'd give it a try. I look forward to chatting and hunting with you.

Chris,

Welcome. I am fairly new to this as well, but let me just tell you, these guys will take care of you! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Hello,I am fairly new here also but am a very persitent yot hunter.Would be nice too find some fellow yot hunters in the crawford county area.Last time I went out for them I came home with a feral pig instead.(must really need some practice on the call I guess!)

Chris,
Do you have much land in Montgomory County lined up to call on? That is key for success. You may go an entire season and only see one or two coyotes hitting the same one or two farms time after time. The trick is to have a number of good parcels to access and hit them every so often. The big open fields are not a good bet in the day light hours. Find drainages and wood lots and call the downwind side. Always work to position yourself with the best vantage point when possible. Have fun, Christopher.

Hey guys, are you still in on the 27th? Anyone else planning on being there?

Hello to all on the forum and to the guys and gals from Ohio. I live in the Galloway Ohio area which is a little west of Columbus and been yote hunting going on 4 years now and still learning a few things. Nice to see others from Ohio on here and seeing what others have been doing in the field. Looking forward to talking to everyone.
