Method for catching live coyotes by hand

The only reason I could see them taping or using zip ties is if they don’t have a cage/kennel to put them in.
I caught one and just grabbed it by the scruff of the neck…basically with two hands behind the ears but on the back part of the neck. Just loaded it in a dog crate and carried it home with intentions of starting to keep some. The wife sorta pulled rank, so I carried it back to the property I caught it from and finished him.
Caught a couple foxes that way too, Reds not Grays. It was just easier to release the Reds that way. Don’t keep them and every landowner/manager I trap for knows it. We don’t have many down here and I may catch one every other year.
I may get an aggressive coyote once or twice a year. Most just lay there when I walk up to them so not difficult to subdue. I ain’t tried it with a Gray yet. Those jokers are just miniature versions of what I imagine a wolves attitude would be, lol.
