Infiray Finder FH35R V2

Index I like, what source for the bumps?
Don't know an actual name they called ? , I just see them around the stores in little assortment packs of different sizes . They are a 'Bumper' you stick on backs of things.. like wall hanging pictures ..etc..
I just took the smallest ones in the pack. cleaned off top of the Therm. buttons with Q tip and alcohol. then took a little dab of ' RTV clear silicon' as an adhesive.

I purchased one about a month ago, brand new in unopened package. I am busy with a bathroom remodel so only briefly looked through it out the garage door a couple of times. Everything seemed ok.

My grandson came over a couple weeks later and wanted to look through it. The first thing he said is, "what is that line or blob?"

I looked, and could then see what he was talking about. There was a visible line of several sphere like blobs or dim spots. Faint, but certainly there. I told him no problem, they have a five year warranty.

I called IRAY USA the next day and the tech said to send them some pictures. After they viewed the pics they claimed it was user damage and would not warranty it. I talked with them probably a half dozen times but they will not change their position. They wouldn't even look at it.

Wished I would have stayed with Pulsar.

Wow that is a major bummer hawkeye. Did they describe what they think you did to damage it? Mind posting the photo here? Just wondering what it looks like and maybe it will help some of us in the future if it becomes a common problem.

I hope IRAY does right and helps you out.

Doesn't sound like the Iray cust service everyone has bragged about!
As to those 'bumpers', they are cabinet door bumpers. In the past I installed them as above but now I just use 2 part epoxy and put a dab on the buttons of my scopes and remotes that I want accentuated. I stays on better.

I took my unit on its maiden voyage on Sunday. The image is very good, and the LRF works really well. I was ranging deer size targets out to 700ish yards. The only downside to this unit is the battery. I had placed a freshly charged battery in the unit the morning of the hunt and it looks like it drains the batteries without running, kind of a bummer. It had drained at least 1 hash mark, I'll make it a point to not install the battery until it's go time. Afterwards I got 2ish hours of run time before it started complaining about low battery even though I was placing the unit in standby mode when I wasn't scanning. I've already purchased 2 more batteries. They're not cheap at $99 a piece. I'll try and keep updating or adding to my review as time goes on. I'm really curious to run it in the Michigan winter.

Rechargeable batteries are funny. Lithiums are not as bad about memory but do have some. Run the batt down almost empty, recharge. It will run longer.
