Yep, cross between a Beagle and a coyote.Dog DNA.
I kept beagles for years... I'd say those ears are more terrier like than beagle. But everyone knows that's impossible.Yep, cross between a Beagle and a coyote.
I was thinking Goofy or Pluto.Yep, cross between a Beagle and a coyote.
That's one good looking dog, Dave. And that I share my ribeyes with him every time I see him. But whatever the reason, he likes me. And he doesn't like anybody. But usually he lets himself into my tent and wakes me up licking my face every morning on the trips we are on. I really do think it's the ribeye on my breath.

Dogs have a special sense as to a person's intent. They know if you like them or are afraid of them and if they sense you do not like them or are afraid of them they react accordingly. His owner gets a real kick out of how Jack relates to me.
For the most part I agree. I'm a dog lover and get along with almost all of them. I have a client that has a couple boxers. Beautiful dogs but they hate me no mater how hard I try to show them I'm no threat.Dogs have a special sense as to a person's intent. Yea that makes sense. Yea it had a deformity on the rear leg at the joint. Like possible broken bone that healed. So maybe it was hit by a car or something at some point and that was the cause for the earsJack really is one handsome son of a gun. He attracts attention. Everyone wants to pet him. But he's very aloof. Not mean, at all. But avoids people, on GP. Everyone is always trying to get his attention and he always ignores everyone. People are constantly trying to get him to come close and he just trots off out of reach. His owner gets a real kick out of how Jack relates to me. A dozen rigs camped, spread out. I always pitch my camp as far from the group as I can. Dark of night, I give a couple lip squeaks and Jack leaves his camp a hundred yards away and runs up to my camp come see what I'm lip squeaking about . It's the ribeyes.

I too am a dog lover, Lance, and have a somewhat similar experience. The only dogs that have ever bitten me were small chihuahua's owned by two different co-workers' wives named Betty. For the most part I agree. I'm a dog lover and get along with almost all of them.
