Flattest shooting caliber

What do you guys think the flattest shooting caliber would be for hunting

I have heard 6.5x284 but the bullet CE appears better on a 270. What do you guys think
Any caliber

I took a fella out at the beginning of the season who wanted to try that cartridge on a coyote. I called a pair in and he he plugged a good sized male at about 60 yards. Flat shooting- yes, but that dog had no ribs left on the exit side

It took some creative positioning to get this photo.

Really depends how much powder you want to burn.

Hunting.... hunting what?

Small stuff, 220 Swift is still about the best, IMO.

Big game, lots of wildcats, but barrel life gets to be a problem. 7mm RUM is screaming, I'm shure there are others.

I will go out on a limb and say it is really hard to beat a 7mm Rem Mag with the proper bullet for long range accuracy/stopping power.

270 win , 243 , 25-06 , 257 the list goes on and on . Factory rounds of course , if you reload then the choices are endless it depends on what you want to do with it

I've heard that too! Must be true since it was posted on the internet.
