Anyone making 22 creed brass I seen a video 6.5 creed to 22 creed just wondering if anybody else has done it I don’t presently have any 22 Creed brass but I have lots of 65 and wanted to know if it was easy to do. Thank you everyone

Personally, I would just buy the most excellent Alpha 22 Creed brass.

Same difference: I've done 6.5 Grendel to 22 ARC with one swipe of a 22 ARC FL die. It works fine, but the necks end up a little thicker, which could cause issues depending on the neck clearances of your chamber.

Peterson, Alpha and Hornady make brass for 22 CM. I have never shot Peterson brass but I have shot Alpha in 6GT and its excellent. Hornady brass is ok in a pinch but I find the primer pockets fail before anything else.
Yes, that has been my experience as well with Alpha and Hornady. Alpha is excellent. Hornady is second to last best. Really sucks.

I think if you size it down you would have to neck turn the brass. It's doable but might be more work than you're looking to do.

That’s exactly what I was thinking that it might be more work than it’s worth but if it turns out to be easy Then I got about a couple 100 6.5 I could form

You should not have any issues with resizing 6mm and/or 6.5 Creed. I wanted the 22 Creed headstamp and went with Alpha brass because it is known to be tough and consistent

Definitely no wanting to turn any necks going to order some brass this week

If nothing else it gives you the experience and ability to form brass so when availability ever becomes a problem it allows you to continue to shoot. If using 6mm I would just go with a simple pass through the sizing die. If using 6.5 I would try annealing them first to help things along.

Have you decided on a bullet yet? I have the 62 VLD-VT, 75 grainers and 80 ELD-X to try myself which I bought months ago with dies, brass etc. before I even ordered a 22 Creed barrel. Seems to be a lot of mix results with the VLD-VT from runners, spinners, they do too much damage to they're just right.

Thank you for the info I have some horaday 75 gr boattail hollow points and some 75 gr eldm to try

75 ELDM has been good to me. It can blow some big holes in them though, if that's a concern (not for me). Notice the chunk of lung.
