This one came to the call last Saturday, thought I had posted this earlier, Ruger American 243 and Hornady 87gr Vmax at around 80 yds. No run, no spin.
Fur still looks good.View attachment 16400

I began using the 87's last fall as I was beginning to see more hogs in one of my hunting areas. I was shooting the 58gr on coyotes with no exit but as hides are worthless and I ran out of the 58's and had plenty 87's I just moved to them. I have had a couple exits. But they don't run or spin!Does the 87’s usually exit?![]()

Are the 87gr Vmax hand loads? All I can find is 75gr Vmax for my .243. I’ve shot probably 12 coyotes this season with the 75gr and they’ve performed well but I’d like to try some 87 gr. I have been shooting the Hornady Super Performance.View attachment 16400

Not handloads, although components are available. What I am shooting came out of Hornady Custom shop but they are available on line. I bought these for hogs. Are the 87gr Vmax hand loads?
