Wipeout bore cleaner

Love it!!! I've been using it for over a year now, I don't think there's anything better, and I've tried a lot of bore cleaners. The Outers foaming bore cleaner sold at Walmart is almost as good and easier to find. Do a search using the search function, there are several previous threads on it here.

I've used it for about 1 year, and it has served me well. I'll keep using it and will give Outer's brand a try, as suggested.

I agree with the Outer's brand. It's easy to find at Wally World and cost effective. I foam up the barrel, let it sit for about 20 minutes and clean out the residue. If the bore is really copper fouled, the foam will come out blue....when the blue is gone, so will be the copper. I follow up with a good gun oil in the bore and that's it's. Sure makes cleaning easy.

Love it!
I've been using the Outers brand or the Gunslick brand. They're great!!!!!
Let it sit in some of my older guns overnight...wow, cleaned them right up.

Been using Wipe out for about 2 years. It is good stuff.

the method I use is fillup the bore around supper time and let it sit overnight clean it out the next morning or so.

If it isn't clean load it up again and let it sit some more.

When it is clean I run a patch of butches gun oil through and put the rifle away.

I have been using Wipe out for several years also, And I think it works great, But I ahve a question, if you spray it in your bore and let it sit dose the top of the barrel get cleaned as the foam settles and turns to liquid and sits on the lower 1/2 of barrel. ???? Or do we do it twice aned turn the gun upside down for the 2nd spray ??? I'd like to only do it once.

About half way thru the cleaning cycle, I turn the rifle trigger side up so the entire bore gets a good soak, don't have to repeat very often since I started doing that.

I have been using the Gunslick stuff for quite a while now, with good results. Use Kroil afterwards. Have a new can of Wipe-Out with the accelerator but haven't tried it yet. I always have my guns in a gun vise when cleaning them, so turning them upside down has never been an issue. It is never a good idea to let any kind of solvent run down into your action/trigger assembly---2MG

I bought some of this a while ago to use on my ar 15, but after I got home, I read the directions and it said I should not use it in gas operated actions. Has anyone tried these foamers in a semi automatic?

Been using it for a few years, best stuff since sliced bread. I use Sweets for break-in cause I don't want to wait long. If you only have an hour or so, use the accelerator with the wipe-out.
