Is it just me, or is there anyone else around who had never seen a two story outhouse? Guess its pretty hard to dig a hole in the Rockies?

At one time there was one at the Jackman trading post just outside of Jackman ME., If I remember right, the top level was labeled conservative, and the bottom was labeled liberal! LOL!!

Good thing I couldn't locate a felt tip marker and it was a long ways into town or I'd have made a sign w/arrow pointing to bottom floor labeled Aggies and the other arrow pointing up stairway labeled all others. My warped sense of humor sometimes gets me in trouble.

This past December I was driving thru some of the Amish country and was able to get a nice photo of their Christmas Lights.

Made a fort out of an outhouse, it had a vent on the roof and 'containment' area at the bottom. No place for a pit, just a hole in the wood seat. Was really old so it didn't smell bad. We also made 'pit' forts till the bulldozer found one. Scared the driver when he saw several kids climb out of the ground.
