Ok so your bitching about something that has nothing to do with you because it doesn't fit your coolness.

But you shoot "premium guns and ammo" to only kill and drink your rum and Kool-aid and some how you are at the range even though you don't just shoot as there is a purpose to your trigger time.... So were you just hanging out there or just getting drunk?

You talk [beeep] about other people on what they wear while out at the range but yet wear a leafy jacket while hunting. You always refer to coyotes as dogs so we never know if your really dumb enough to not know the difference between the two or just a idiot?? You do this while shooting your premium Bushmaster AR with your premium Fiocchi ammo missing your combat blade your messed up when you were a young civilian. Let us not forget you feel a SP bullet will do more damage to a animal then a Vmax will. While shooting your so called long range at 300 yards but not at a range as it's a waste of your trigger time and you only kill.

Oh and let us not forget you told a fellow member he gave you a "bro-nner"

Breaks my heart, and it is not all trash shooters, we get a lot of help from our Southern neighbors as well.

As for the "Tacticool-ness" issue; I am a competitive pistol and rifle shooter. We all had to start somewhere, and many of us tended to buy things that ended up not working out so well. I spent several years working out my "rig" to get things just right. I wanted my bare necessities, ready to go, in comfort. So I used some lessons learned from my shooting rig, and I am very happy. However, this doesn't constitute "Tacticool". I wear my rig because it works and is confortible, not to impress people. I judge individuals, not groups. So when I see a "BS artist" at the range, fully decked out in his "Tacticoolness", that is his problem, I just choose not to associate with him. I do not automatically associate his "Tacticoolness" to people who choose to use tactical gear, it has more to do with attitude. Now if he tries to get too pushy with his "Tactical" BS, well, that is a bridge I will burn when I get there.

For the cost and performance of my bushy and fiocchi's the accuracy and value is exceptional. Nor did I expect to pay a $1,000 for it.

Range time is spent sighting in and finding holdovers, so yes, it does have a purpose in the killing aspect. So does the leafy suit. I wear it when I hunt, again, purpose is to kill.

SP bullets: I haven't experienced exit wounds with the VMAX in a 50 grain .223, I shot one dog, or Canis latrans, not to be confused with Canis lupus familiaris, in the belly with an sp and it blew guts everywhere. So I was asking if it had similar results in the thorax.

AR-15s are fun. Tactical gear is fun. Shooting fast is fun. Hunting is fun. Shooting is fun. Helping each other out, and learning from one-another is fun. Trash-talking fellow hunters, sportsmen, and shooters because they're not like you isn't. Perhaps you missed the memo as to why we're all here.

I knew there was a good reason for loving ARs and shooting things. I've had guns since I was twelve years old, longer if you count BB Rifles. I've never committed a crime with one yet, and haven't even thought about it. Contrary to what liberal idiots claim.
 
BryanBY, The reason most of us have been on this site for so many years, (10 for me) is we can talk and ask questions freely with out being called out by the schoolyard (or teacher) bully. All we ask is that you respect this and we welcome you to partake in our discusions. We know that some anti's read these sites and comments like yours just gives them fuel for there cause.
 
This is the very same thing that happens around Las Vegas. It is also why so many areas are being fenced off and made into non shooting areas. It is sad to see areas that are littered with everything from Computers to washer and driers shot up and left out there. The saddest part is that signs are being posted saying "no shooting" or "no trespassing" or even "no vehicles allowed". This is land that my tax paying dollars are going to fund and I am no longer allowed to use the land because of idiots who need to take their trash out and shoot it up.

I spoke to a Ranger about why the land is being closed to the public and he stated the trash was the main reason. People shooting old tv and computer monitors filled with mercury vapor gasses causing ecological damage (his words) as well as costing money from their budget to clean up the area that they didn't have budgeted in the first place. So my advice to those that like to go out to remote areas and not be bothered by anyone else while they shoot is: if you pack it in to shoot, you should pack it out. This will keep public land public.
