Mourning,
I have been using a little of this Winchester Powder in my 22-250 with good results at the range. My 1-8 twist Tikka likes 35.3 grains of powder, cci primer and 55 grain Hornady bullet.
Wondering if any of you have any experience Sta Ball Match.
Thanks, Mark Zero

Have problems finding powder around here and when I do it's pretty spendy. Never heard of Sta ball powder till last year. Saw a can of Sta Ball 6.5 at the local, Bi Mart and got some to try in my 260 Rem. Can't believe how good that stuff shoots in it! Haven't seen much data for Sta Ball powder anywhere so haven't tried any in anything else. New Winchester powder.

I've been reading how well the Sta Ball 6.5 works and thinking of trying it. I've been dedicated to H4350 for 35 years in the 243's etc, because it just works. But if more speed is available with temp stability and ability to throw charges from a measure, well that's a great combo if it shoots equally well.

I’m currently using H-380 with no complaints but I’ve stocked up on Stabal Match and will be the next powder I try in my 22-250’s. If the accuracy is there , all the data I have seen shows it will do everything I want from the cartridge.

I load H380 also, to me, the Stabal powder is close to varget,,,

ive used both 6.5 and match so far. 6.5 in my creed and match in my 308 as well as my 4570 of all things. just did some min charges (lever gun) and while they shot well i did get a little sooting. gonna do a full proper ladder next time i'm out and the weather warms up. those were mainly just something to go bang and do some plinkng with.

did well in my savage 110 FP 308 heavy barrel. have multiple groups under 3/4 moa so far, think i can get them down nicer if i tinker with it.

gonna be testing it in my 223 come spring, see how it likes to push hornady 75gr bthp's. also for my buddy's 243 once he pony's up for some dies for it.
