The Sony exview b/w bullet camera works very well for night viewing, I have several setup around the outside of my home ( cameras run 24/7 going on 12+ yrs already). They are good to .0003 lux. A person standing 40yds away smoking a cigarette at night, the cigarette looks like a roadside flare when they inhale due to the IR emitted. After the sun goes below the horizon, it still looks like daytime when monitoring the cameras for around 45min.
