Harris is set to clinch the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, weeks ahead of the convention.​

In the 24 hours since President Biden pulled out of the race, the vice president moved quickly to secure key endorsements from party leaders, win over pledged delegates the president won during the state primaries and caucuses, and establish a campaign team to take on the Trump–Vance ticket.
Ms. Harris traveled to Wilmington, Delaware, earlier in the day to rally her new campaign staff and formally accept President Joe Biden’s endorsement.

I wanted to jump in here and say, the logical thing to do would be to put the money behind the candidate actually selected, but then, when have the Demoncrats done anything logical?
 
this whole thing has been in the works - behind the scenes at least - since well before the debate.

as others mentioned, the debate was the setup to kick it all off publically.

but the transition from JOE JOE JOE to 403 403 403 has gone so smoothly theyve had to have been working on making her the ticket for *WEEEEEEEEKS* now.

and the media has just been on the backburner waiting for it, with how they all jumped both feet in for karmala so quick.
 
I hear that, Owen. I thought about what would happen if/when Que Mala bombs at the DNC. Interesting times.
 
It's clear she's the anointed one, claims are > $200 million donated.

What isn't clear is whether she'll actually be the nominee or if there will be some back stabbing & throwing under the bus yet to come

doesnt make financial sense for the party though.

she inherits joe's campaign money because vp

then goes on to fundraise - both via pac's and private donations - hundreds of millions in a matter of days.


why would the DNC throw all that away - especailly after barry comes out and publically endorses her

thats not only throwing karmala under the bus, but also barack & michelle, and close to $200m in campaign donations.


at this point, its pretty clear shes all but the guaranteed appointed heiress of the nomination - all while never receiving a single vote in the primaries.


go figure.
