Scheel's

Can’t echo the price match enough with them. When cabelas was purging their stock of the X2S last year, they had it marked down to $450 bucks. I don’t have a cabelas near me but I showed the guys at scheels the price and they price matched. They didn’t have the call in the store either so they shipped it to my house for free too.

I found a vortex radian tripod for sale online the other day with a coupon code and showed scheels the price. They matched the price on that and took off $300 of their sale price. I definitely try to buy local from them for everything.

I'm lucky to have one within 10 miles from me. It's busy all the time and packed on the weekends. They know what they're doing.
And yes, they're great about price matching. Over the years there was only one thing they couldn't match for me, and that was a close out price on a discontinued scope.

I've never been inside a Sheels, but I have bought a few things online. They have good sales.

It's ashamed at what happened to Cabelas. It used to be such a good store.

It would be great if Scheels could buy the Cabela's store in Hamburg Pa., Bass Pro took that store from a 10 to maybe a 2 or 3, and that's being generous!
I quit going there once they got rid of the Bargain Cave…used to be worth the drive. Now all I have left is Bass Pro in Harrisburg and that place is the worst.

Dang. I was in Reno this past March. I didn't know there was a Sheels there. I would have most def. went.
Where do you live?
I'm just north of Sacramento.
I try to go to reno 3-4 times a year and almost always go to Scheels.
Also, stop at Sasquatch in Verde for lunch, great food.
Hoping this spring to go Yote hunting in Nevada.
