Restored H&R Topper .410 for my grand daughter

I found a real nice .410 that I totally refinished, installed a butt pad, and replaced a hammer spring and firing pin. This will be my gift to my grand daughter next month on her 11th birthday.

The forend wood is exceptional. I'm still am a sucker for pretty wood. The finish is 12 coats of hand-rubbed Tru-Oil.

I always thought that the tiger striped bluing(not sure what it's called) on those older H&R's was neat looking. That should do nicely man.
