Old 700 VSSF vs new VSSF

I have owned 6 Remington 700 VSSF II in different cal. that I used for long range shooting tournaments. Replaced the trigger as soon as I got them. I have found nothing that will match them at any price.

I bought a VSSF in 308 in 1999. Great rifle! Sadly, I sold it to pay for a wedding ring. But I still have the wife!

My experience with several of the original VSSF and one of the second version is that they’re both very accurate. I much prefer the stock of the original VSSF.

I've got a kissing cousin Remington VLSS thumbhole I bought around 02, put a Timney trigger in it, and it's one of my favorite rifles. Originally bought it for prairie dogs however starting using it for dogs. Accurate as can be, a bit heavy so I put it in a light weight chassis with a carbon stock, love the rifle.
