Yep probably! But I am thinking about Coyotes mostly and I will probably keeps the furs next year, I threw away a lot of Coyotes and I will need to recoup some money next year!
How about a .243 or a 22-250??
Where does one find a tactical mount and a MUCH higher cheek rest like one on the attached picture??
I would be hard pressed to decide which one VS the other as both will do the job to 400 yards when needed. Speed will be about the same and for a bullet weight Id run 55g. The .243 can run heavier bullets w/better BC and wind bucking abilities if ever needed.
If it was me Id do the .243 since I like the 6mm anyway.
A higher cheek mount can be had at midwayusa or other online seller.
A EGW 1pc mount will do the trick for attaching it to the gun, that mount is railed.
There are longer custom rails available out there as well for bolt guns.
I was thinking of putting my D740 on one of my bolt guns, just have not tried to fit it yet to sdee how it will do.
