been there, done that. nothing louder than hearing "CLICK" when the moment of truth arrives. that move cost me the second coyote of the night...lol

mine happened when i actually forgot to chamber a round . i gently slide the bolt forward and then seat it with the forward assist. still noisy but not as much as slamming it forward.

nice recovery and shot. what round / caliber are you using ?
