OT, I'm right there with you on the opinion of our current President.
I didn't fly the flag for him, though. Nope, absolutely not.
I flew it because:
#1) I am a patriot, even though I never served in the military
#2) regardless of how far I fear this country has fallen in my lifetime, I still love her, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else
and #3) I flew my flag on President's Day to honor the 2 Presidents that it originally was combined for...Washington & Lincoln.
I doubt that many of our younger citizens even remember (or know about) that we used to celebrate each of those President's birthdays on separate days.
But, I'm old enough to remember.
I'm also old enough to remember saying the Pledge Of Allegiance at the start of every school day. Do they even do THAT anymore?
