Here it is.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called the city to demand the order be lifted, but it had already been rescinded at the time of the call. Florida Carry also submitted a letter informing the city of the law’s unconstitutionality. The city fielded calls from around the country. During the brief period that the order was in effect, no one was arrested or charged with violating it. The mayor, police chief, and council were all apologetic for the confusion.

i dont mean to sound like a law breaker but during times of civil unrest and looting during natural disasters...no way am i leaving a firearm at home and depending on a cop to arrive in time if i need help against some thugs. you can bet they didnt leave their weapons at home.

during Katrina in New Orleans the police confiscated weapons, they went door to door and took them...in upscale neighborhoods only. they didnt go into the gang areas, they knew what those thugs would do.

That doesn't sound like a lawbreaker to me, it sounds like a free man. When they take your ability to defend yourself, you than become a slave.

You don’t have to follow unconstitutional laws, and besides, there isn’t a single law enforcement officer in the US that can make law.

I used to live in Colorado. The Denver area and nearby bordering counties would impose bans on shooting during fire season. One of my last years there, Eagle county, in western Colorado did the same, closed the shooting range and banned shooting while fire restrictions are in place. I called the county to ask who it was that had the authority to suspend the constitution in the name of "public safety". I was transferred around and around while on the phone, they were noticeably not happy about my call. They institute fire restrictions almost as a rule now, doesn't matter what the fire risk is at the time.
