Took the Custom Shop RPR out today, 91F, pretty windy. I just wanted to chrono some hand loads, figured I bring some factory ammo along with my handloads.

Specifics for each load in the graphs. The third one over just blew me away, best numbers I ever seen for factory ammo. Hornady has done a fine job recently bringing accurate ammo to market. The ELD-M 108 grain Match ammo shot just over .6 from the same rifle.

Have you used that 80 grain Eld-VT on a coyote yet? The 108 eldm left a little bigger hole in them than I’d prefer.

Just loaded a few up with 45 and 45.5 gr of H4350. I’m using 1x fired hornady brass, fed 210 and I guessed in seating depth (basically a little longer than hornady’s rec on the 80 CX bullet). I only shot 5 round groups but I’d say it’s off to a good start. I’ll use my Alpha LRP brass in the next loading. 3417 fps is pretty deadly for my standards, especially coming from my success with the slower 108 eldm.
