Daytime scopes, what are you using?

In the market for some new glass to put on my 6x6.8. Been using Leupold for a while, looking for something else to try. 3-4x on the low end, good glass, light weight and durable. Don't shoot much past 300 yrds. What is everyone else using that might fit this bill?

Well Im all daytime and have Swarovski 3x 10x42…4x12x50 …3x18x52 on a few calling rifles. All good. Have a Zeiss 4x16x50 and it’s a good scope as well.
Ain’t gonna lie.. I could get by with a straight fixed 6 power for 95% of my calling. Not even sure you can find a fixed power scope nowdays? Ain’t looked.

Some of my favorites on rifles for calling coyotes out to 300 yards. I like a minimum of 40 foot of FOV on the bottom end, fast target acquisition and to be able to track moving game in the brush and spot openings ahead for a shot. Most of mine have 70 feet.

I. Sightron II 1.5-6x40 duplex discontinued a long time ago but still works well.
2. Leupold V 1-4x20s duplex on a number of combo guns.
3. Leupold VX 3 1.5-5x20 on a duplex on a 20P
4. Sightron S1 1.75-5x32 duplex
5. Athlon Argos 2-12x42 BDC I like these for country that is a little more open county great FOV plus enough Xs to reach out there

I have a couple of 1.5-6x42/44 30mm tubes that are really nice German #1 and #4 by Konus(surprisingly nice glass for the price), Burris 4X(made for the European market) and a Meopta Artimes all discontinued.

I like the Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50. I think its a great scope for a daytime coyote rifle.

Nice low end with decent magnification in a smallish scope. Comes in second focal plane

What I dont like about it is the busy reticle.
I would have to agree on the busy reticles, I was looking at the SHV but that and the weight have led me to look at more options.

The weight on the swaro's looks nice. Can you tell a whole lot of difference between the 42 vs. the 50? What model do you have, z3? Zeiss is another nice looking option but it is 23oz.

Mostly Z3s yes. The 42 is nice for a lightweight calling rig. My favorite is the 50 though. Not a huge difference but enough. These are all 1 inch tubes.

My three main hunting guns all have the Nighforce NXS 2.5-10x32 with the IHR reticle.

Of course NF discontinued that model and reticle.

I have Burris FFII's or Fullfield e1 on all my calling rifles, either 3-9 or 4.5-14's. Used the 3-9's until eyes started complaining. The e1 reticle is better w/my old eyes; a bit bolder than the FFII.

I have a Sightron 4-20 stac, duplex on my 22-250(I dial for any shot over 250 yards). Leupold v2(discontinued)4-12 on my 17 rem fine crosshair (cds custom turrent). Game rifle(elk) I use a Sightron 2-10 stac. The Leupold is the lightest weight.
