I sure like my budget skinner! I love the shape and feel of the blade. It's a very natural feeling knife.

I made this knife for a gift to a friend of mine. He live in AZ, the wood is Mesquiet.

I made these 2 daggers(first attempt at making a knife) from the material below. The brass guard is from melted down .223 brass. Wood is ironwood.

This knife was made by a custom maker in Alaska. The handle contains survival gear and a .45 clip.

My Dad made this one back in the early 1900's the blade is a saw blade with a poured bronze handle.

Some really nice knives in this thread. Here are a few I have finished lately.

Ladder Damascus Fighter. Steel is 1084 and 15n20. Guard is stainless. Handle is stabilized redwood burl.

Pair of Matched Nessmuks. One is 1095 high carbon and the other is 5160. Handles are stabilized redwood burl.

Dagger I just finished. It is 1084 high carbon steel sandwiched between some wrought iron from an old wagon wheel tire. Guard is wrought iron and handle is stabilized redwood burl (again). Sheath inlay is beaver tail donated by a problem beaver at work.

My new Gene Ingram... My wife saw me looking at it a couple of times and surprised me by ordering it for me for no good reason at all - just because is all she said about it. I married WAY above my head and thank the good Lord above for her everyday.
