Check out SportsmansGuide.com, their army surplus section is full of wool and winter gear, i can spend hours looking through their winter section and I havent regretted or been disappointed by anything ive got from them and I felt like i got it at half price. Wool pants can be hard to find but wool sweaters are everywhere for cheap, check ebay or your local thriftshop. Wool jacklets are easier to find than wool pants but most of them cost a bit.I'm sure it all works well, but all that stuff you just listed costs more than my first truck![]()
I wear Merino base layer all winter long, my bedroom was 37 degrees when I woke up and its 40 now, I have a lot of wool sweaters and I dont think ive paid more than $15 for any of them. MerinoTech merino base layers are the cheapest and the material is good, its just loose and baggy and doesnt fit as great as the high price merino.
Ive got Kuiui gators that are great but no other expensive stuff.
