Cold Weather Gear

I'm sure it all works well, but all that stuff you just listed costs more than my first truck 🤣
Check out SportsmansGuide.com, their army surplus section is full of wool and winter gear, i can spend hours looking through their winter section and I havent regretted or been disappointed by anything ive got from them and I felt like i got it at half price. Wool pants can be hard to find but wool sweaters are everywhere for cheap, check ebay or your local thriftshop. Wool jacklets are easier to find than wool pants but most of them cost a bit.

I wear Merino base layer all winter long, my bedroom was 37 degrees when I woke up and its 40 now, I have a lot of wool sweaters and I dont think ive paid more than $15 for any of them. MerinoTech merino base layers are the cheapest and the material is good, its just loose and baggy and doesnt fit as great as the high price merino.

Ive got Kuiui gators that are great but no other expensive stuff.

The striker ice clothes hard water suit is about as warm as it gets. Just cover it up with a light camo. Also the old white military bunny boots are as warm a boot as you will find.

I use hot hands glomittens. Put a hand warmer inside. You can super heat those hand warmers by putting them on your car defroster on hot before going out to your stand. If it’s really cold I run two sets of hand warmers a gloves. One set left in the truck to heat while I am gone a one in the stand. They will get so hot after the defroster trick they will burn your hands if you’re not careful.

I live in ND an hunt below zero weather often.

I worked at the Guide while in college, friends would mark the catalog and I would purchase with my discount. One time I went to pickup my check, the office people laughed and said I was short!!
