Just visited a coffee plantation in Costa Rica yesterday! Interesting procedure refining the beans. I learned that glossy beans means the coffee is subpar. I always thought it meant it was good. Apparently if those oils leach the beans were liked under ripe.
Since this all started I've switched to Black Rifle Coffe Co. American blend, grinding my own beans and use a French press.
Big upgrade from the instant I was drinking.
