Sorry Andy I didn`t mean for that to sound rude, but thought it did after I read it. Just thought it might be up there. As far as I i know RP= Remington? FC= Federal Cartrige
the others I`m not sure.

yeah i just did some searching. Some federal people say great no problems for 3-4 reloads some say not to use at all cause of stretched primer pockets. Hard to really tell untill you reload it yourself. The RP was remington peters. Never heard of that one but i am new to this soooooo.

Still not sure on the nny or wcc.

I wondered why some disliked FC, I have a couple hundred rounds I just removed the crimp from. The few that I have primed felt ok but the primer seating depth was lower than what I would have liked .011" as opposed to .004" hope they work ok.

theres a video on you tube about crimped primers and he uses a depriming tool and then a deburring to to clean out the primer pocket. as long as you get the burr he says that it will work fine. Guess its all trial and error as to how you do it and if it works or not.

Yeah, WCC is Winchester Cartridge Company. I've loaded all those headstamps in .308 without any problems. The primer pockets will hold up fine unless your presures are near max. (at least all mine have).

One thing I will warn you about, though, is to weigh some of those cases. I have old military brass that weighs a LOT more then commercial, and you should set any heavy ones aside and work up loads for them separately from the lighter commercial brass.
The military stuff I have all has a year stamped into the base (NATO + stamp and year). Like WCC 69 +, and it's around 10 gr. heavier then commercial .308 of recent manufacture. Maybe none of yours are like that, but it's worth checking out. That's a lot of reduced interior volume.

NNY I've never seen, but the chart says:

rvi Partizan-Namenska Proizvodnja, Titovo, Uzice 31000, Yugoslavia. These are actually Cyrillic letters equal to "PPU in the Western alphabet.

That would be Privi-Partizan that you see for sale now. Midway carries it, for one:

Privi-Partizan .308 ammo
