No, tomatillos/green tomatoes taste pretty much alike, but tomatoes are a bit softer. We don't use cabbage in our tacos. Mostly meat (ground or chopped), lettuce, tomatoes, onion & salsa on a corn tortilla; sometimes add a little avocado. Flour not bad, but I prefer corn. I could live on Mexican or TexMex alone, in fact I feel like I might have withdrawal symptoms when deprived.
