Baiting hogs with corn soaked in diesel fuel

I know someone that’s done it, and I’ve put trail cameras on it to see what eats it and what doesn’t.
Keep in mind you’re going to get totally different answers from landowners that have property destroyed by them, and the internet police.
1. Not many people are going to eat a woods hog, to start with, so don’t associate the diesel tainting the meat.
2. Deer and turkey will not eat it. Coons and hogs will.
3. The real reason a lot of people (again, landowners that can’t stand em), soak the corn in diesel, is they are also mixing broken glass, broken skeet, etc, with the corn, to hopefully kill them. Diesel soaked corn alone ain’t going make a dent in the population.
I’ve lived in areas with hogs my entire life and have never seen nor heard of anyone mixing anything with corn to try to kill hogs. I’ve never even heard of anyone suggesting it.

That’s just my personal experience.

Here is a wallow made as soon as the diesel soaked corn and glass was eaten.
