.......for only $1295. Seriously? That's a lot of coin for a press and its manual. You got to pull the handle yourself. Sorry but there come a time when you just scratch your head and say really! Is this machine going to be that much better?

Of course it is much better, it cost a $1000 more. The fact it uses standard die and shell holders, I can't see any advantage. You have slop in the shell holder which allows the brass to align with the die. As far as consistant bump, I use graduated shell holders.and hard bottom to the die so bump stays consistent regardless of press slop. I can load a lot of ammo for $1000.

Yeah..

A Lee press in the back room of a single wide, or your 419 in your special loading room in your big fat house.

Everybody has different earning potential.

To each their own.

in your big fat house.
Damn dude why does it have to be a "big fat" house what if your house is just "husky" or maybe "big boned". Houses have feelings too and calling one big and fat is just hurtful. ;)

I've played with one and those Area 419 presses are really nice but unless someone were to give me one I don't ever see myself owning one. As it is I already have three or four more presses than I need.

I can only shoot mediocre anyway.

There are some very good shooters out there who take accuracy very seriously. They will go through great troubles, and expense to reduce group size from .3 to .25.

Following my dads lead years ago, I bought a Redding T-7 turret press. I am very satisfied with it. I have 6 spare turrets filled with dies.

I use an old RCBS RC 3 for de-caping rifle brass. And a newer RC, with a cool custom primer catcher for sizing and de-capping pistol brass.

Seems you can't buy love or zeros for your rifle. You have to work for them...

I don't think I would buy one even if I could afford it...which I can't. My first reloader was an old Lee that came in a plastic box. You did everything one bullet at a time. I don't have the reloader anymore but still have the wooden mallet I used. My how we have advanced since then.
