…..another one

Another one didn’t make it out alive.. I’m pretty sure at this point I sound like a broken record. But these shells show no mercy, results speak for themselves.

Nice work. Awesome cat! I'll keep listening to your broken record!

I shoot 4 buck lead, but would like an alternative to lead, as I see bald eagles, and many other critters, eating carcasses where I usually like to leave them. But that stuff is so expensive...

It’s worth every penny. I have also seen it where you’ll have more dead coyotes per box, than you would Hornady BB. Sounds wild I know, but it’s the truth.

I think you could kill more coyotes with a box of Grape Nuts cereal than you could with Hornady BB!

Hornady is a great company if you’re a rifle shooter, but their shot shells underperform badly in my opinion. Low payload and pattern like garbage no matter the gun/choke/barrel combination.

I’ve killed a pile of coyotes with the Hornady BB, and there’s a few I know on here that have killed 100x more than I have with them. In my opinion, and again it’s just my opinion, as far as a standard “lead” load goes they’re probably your best bet.

But they’re not even in the same conversation as these. Not even close to close. I can go on all day about how these shells perform, but I’ll just let the results speak for themselves.

I’ve always carried a shotgun, it’s like something I won’t be without. But using these loads has really opened doors using one, and I find myself shooting it these days more than my rifle. Again, that’s my country and my terrain, so it’s situation specific. But 70 yards is 70 yards, and they’ve pushed that “he was right on the line of being in shotgun range”, much further. There’s no guessing.

Agree to disagree I suppose. I’m definitely not a shotgun hunter in any capacity. I have pattern tested a lot though. Hornady BB, 4buck and turkey loads were always bottom of the barrel for me. Every choke from Imp Cyl through stupid tight was pretty bad. Even the shot quality seemed subpar. Even with nickel plating it deformed more than other factory loads.

Any shell loaded with TSS that patterns well is going to crush a coyote at extended ranges, so no doubt yours are performing. Proof keeps coming in posts and pics. Keep hammering man!

I definitely have to agree ! I have not found a good gun / choke combo yet that I would call acceptable with Hornady BB. And I’ve spent a small fortune attempting! Exactly why I load my own TSS now. Not saying it’s the answer for everyone but I promise I will NEVER coyote hunt with lead of any kind.
Not trying to raise feathers just my opinion and preference. 👍
