Wasn’t any info if it did or didn’t…I think I have a set, if not I’m sure my shop has some.
Debating a picatinny rail, as I may put my thermal on it.
Ended up just ordering a 0 MOA rail from EGW. They’re alittle over an hour away so should have it Saturday or Monday, rifle should be in Tuesday. If I had to buy, I'd go with a pic rail. I already had some 700 bases so that's what I used. The front base is a tad long, but I haven't had any issues with it getting in the way.
I will post some pics after I bring it home. It’s not a hogue. Mine doesn’t touch the barrel.
4 Hornady options to choose from 108, 105, 103 & recently a 80 gr v-match offering. Suppose you would need to see what shoots well in your rifle. Doubt any of these would reliably be fur friendly. Look forward to experiences to be shared w the v-match or reloads with the 80 gr ELD-VT.Awesome thanks for sharing…Any suggestions for factory coyote ammo?
Yes I can already tell if I lay it on a bag and apply any pressure it’s going to touch.Mine was close enough that when it was on the rest it would touch. Sand paper on a deep socket took care of it. Other than that I like the factory stock, shortened it so me and put a new recoil pad on.
I put my Grendel in a Boyd's but ended up putting it back in a factory stock. That one I didn't have an extra pad laying around so I cut it, put a hardwood block in and contoured it.
Yes I can already tell if I lay it on a bag and apply any pressure it’s going to touch.
I’ll shoot it 1st and see how it goes.
Did you guys follow recommended barrel break-in procedure?
I built a Radian Upper/Lower combo with an Odin 18'' Stainless barrel chambered in 6 ARC. Shooting 5 shot - .425 groups at 100yds with 80gr Hornady ELD-VT. 2900 muzzle velocity at mile high elevation. 20 MOA drop at 800 yds with a 200 yard zero. Hitting MOA steel out to 800 consistent. What's the shortest barrel you could run and still enjoy the benefits of the cartridge?
