6.5 end cap on a nomad 30

I think I read it takes 3 db to make a difference to the ear.

Guessing it's doubtful the new cap would do that.
 
I have a Silencerco hybrid 46…I can swap the end caps for .223 to .46
They state 2-5db difference by using correct cap size for caliber…so .223 through the 46cap would be up to 5db louder than using the correct 223 cap.

I also have the 46. I use the cap that came with it for the 450BM deer hunting. Everything else I use a 30 cal end cap. From the research I did, it's not worth the money for the .22 cal end cap. I noticed SilencerCo discontinued their 6.5 cap. I don't think it would be worth it at all for the OP to get the 6.5 cap.
