2 Sows Down

Took out a couple of sows last night on a feeder at 25yds. The shooting is pretty fast after the first round and I was hoping to take 2 down quick so I could get the third big one but I had to track on the runner and by then the rest were in the woods.

The weapon I used was my light weight suppressed 6.8SPC SBR with a Trijicon 20mm REAP-IR. This is my stalking rig so I do not have a video recorder attached to keep it light.

This is a see through blind so I tried a new method and just mounted my AGM Taipan V2 15-384 scanner on a tripod outside the blind and watched it on my iPhone using the AGM connect app. I knew where the hogs were going to come in from so I did not really need to scan. This AGM unit is a fixed focus at 15mm and the resolution is better than it appears in the video. The 15mm lens gives me more FOV I use this as a close range unit.

That's some good and fast shooting! You can sure tell which one is the momma
Thx....it's always fast after the first round.

When I get 2 lined up like this I always double tap the first shot and sometimes I get lucky and get number 2 hog as it reacts. No luck this time as you can see the from the dirt impact my muzzle rise took the shot high and then it was game on before she hit the woods. It seems more difficult to me to control muzzle rise when shooting from a seated position as apposed to standing.

Overhead view from my Reolink Trackmix camera. They fast........:ROFLMAO:

I’ve been lucky enough several times to get a “twofer” first ones normally dead on its feet and the second hurt enough a second shot is easy. Then you can get on the rest of the sounder. Doesn’t always work, but it’s pretty sweet when it does.

I seen them about to get sxs and thought here we go :ROFLMAO:, I bought a upper in order to get faster shots than my bolt guns. wanted something different so went 6arc, shot 2 deer this past season and was great seeing the hit and reaction. Thanks for sharing the hunt.
