1st coyote of September

Drove by one of my hunting properties earlier today and noticed the farmer had already started picking corn sometime over the last few days or so, he had enough of the feild shelled that I came back after it got dark to try calling something in and managed to pull this female from the standing corn at the 15 min mark of calling

When I went back by that property the following day I seen he was cutting silage not shelling corn, I have noticed a few others as well doing the same thing.. I should have noticed that night that there wasn't much corn stalks chopped up laying around but it was pitch dark walking in to setup
 
Corn feilds are opening up daily. Gonna have to get back out soon for some more predator calling.. bow season starts Oct 1st may not have alot of standing corn, between farmers cutting silage and the feilds that are being harvested

Well done! That owl serenade was cool. Might try a kiyi after the shot; sometimes turns up a 2nd yote.
 
I didn't try a kiyi but I did go to pup distress after I stopped recording on the scope, got caught in the moment and didn't switch up right after the shot... the owls started up the second after my first pup howl, only caught portion of them when I spotted the coyote
