18" 243 suppressor recommendations

Looking for a new suppressor for my bolt action 18" 243..
Have a sandman S an it might b okay on a gas gun but it's LOUD on my 243... friend has the same setup with silencerco scythe an that was definitely better... but I would like to try to an drop the noise/muzzle blast down even more.. has anyone had experience with these on a 243 bolt gun?
I know I won't get subsonic quiet....

Looks like you're ok with cans larger in diameter then 1.5 so I'd probably look at the Dead Air Nomad LTi or better yet their new LTi XC.

For cans in the 1.5in diameter size I think it's hard to beat the TBAC Ultra 7 & 9

I was looking at the nomad-l xc... I guess they just started shipping them to dealers...that would be another option... I've heard good things about the old nomad an this was is supposedly better yet....

I wouldn't mind going with a wolf hunter but my suppressor guy just deals with silencer shop.... an he is the only one within an hr of me that has a license to sling suppressors..
 
You can buy it from wherever you want then have it shipped to him.

The dealer that I deal with doesn't carry DDC either. I bought mine from Bauer Precision and had it shipped to him. We then used Silencer Shop for all the other stuff.

like double lung said they dont have to carry them to get them. Biggest hold up know iv heard is companies are behind on making suppressors since the atf decided to approving cans in record time. good luck
 
Take a look at our 6mm VAPR, developed specifically for the bolt rifle. I've had guys transfer the VAPR to dealers who only use Silencer Shop.

No HUB mounts, it's direct thread only. I wanted a simple single point attachment on my precision hunting rigs that eliminated tolerance stacking. .224 and 6mm are the same other than the baffle bore and endcap bore diameter. 8" long, 1.5" OD, 12.5oz, Ti Tube and baffles, SS threaded cap and Inconel BB. FDE option and any thread pitch you need!

Thank you. I just got laid off. I'll be giving you a call when things go back to normal.
 
Definitely get an 8+ inch suppressor if you're looking for max noise reduction. I have a Nosler SR-30Alti on my 22" .243 and it does pretty good. Bought it because it was in stock. Was looking at the Elite Iron Delta suppressor as well. Wish i would have seen the VAPR recommendation too, kinda hard to find a big direct thread suppressor.

I'm wanting a dedicated 6mm can for a 6x6.8 and 22 ARC. None of my go to places have the Enticer L in stock.

PS: DDC needs to release the Wolf Hunter in an L version, however, after talking with his wife, they can't keep up with demand so they may never have an L in the Wolf Hunter.

If your looking for a longer wolf hunter. Look up InertHaze Dreyse 6 or 30, There 8.2 long 9oz
