I like watching them on TV but sometimes I almost feel sorry for the wardens having to put up with stupid people. This episode the wardens put out a decoy cow elk. Its head moves right to left, that's it! A hunter (and I use the term loosely) stops his jeep, gets out, grabs his rifle out of the back, lays across the hood and shoots. Needless to say, he's busted. I'm thinking to myself, how many times have you see an elk or deer just stand there in the same spot and never moves? Very seldom. You would think that anyone in the know would wonder why this animal isn't moving. And why does it have a ring around its neck and legs? I don't know, maybe its excitement and the brain shuts off but it does make me wonder.
