Well said Bob!!Bill, X24 shortcomings… Lots of them.
1. It doesn’t call in coyotes 100% of the time regardless of what you’ve heard.
2. It doesn’t cover your scent or mask noise you make on approach.
3. It doesn’t drag the coyotes out for you.
4. It doesn’t help you explain to your wife why you think it’s normal to stay out all night trying to lure in things with teeth close to you.
5. It never gets it done from your couch.
6. When used from the couch it generally ends in an argument, smack in the head or divorce.
Other than these few things you should do well with your new X24. Good luck!
You should have a good experience with your new caller Bill. If you're new to the remote I would suggest you mess around with it quite a bit before heading afield to familiarize yourself with it. It becomes second nature with use. It isn't the best button layout for gloved hands, but I chop the thumbs and index finger tips off all my gloves used for calling and shooting. Learn the up/down/left/right buttons, the back button, the mute and recall buttons and you're 90% there.Well said Bob!!
Just curious how they would improve upon the click/drag process they currently use for adding sounds? I'm unfamiliar as to how it's done with other brands.I do think that FoxPro is way behind everyone else in their operating system with adding calls and such.
Interesting. So on those calls you can change the name of the sound, change the order and/or call categories right on the remote?ICOtec uses BlueTooth.
LuckyDuck uses an SD card. You just DL the sounds to the card then insert the card back into the call and it loads them.
Mine did the same thing. I had to send it in.I’ve had the same x24 for alittle over a year now. I also run year round and it gets used ALOT! Today I had my first issue with it. In the middle of a set it got staticy then went low volume. Ever since no matter what I turn it up to, including 40, it sounds like it’s between 10-12. Every now and then it’ll get normal volume then go right back to the low volume. Anyone ever had this problem. Had a buddy say it was the internal AMP. Anyone else had this issue before?
