Congrats on the wolfs!
Great hunt! Seems like the 243 may not be enough gun. I’m surprised they soaked up that much lead before dying.
Thank you.Congrats on the wolfs!
Thank you kindly. That was an outstanding adventure. You have certainly paid your dues over the years and it's GREAT to see you reap the rewards. Congratulations to both of you, they are magnificent trophies.
I am afraid "Elvis has left the building". Haven't seen him in a while.I see Kay put the "Hammer" down, and you did pretty well also, congratulations on the wolves. Now if you can just get that black coyote.
Thank you, means a lot coming from you.Pretty bad a##! Congratulations
I still think the gun choice is fine. My silver wolf took a step just as I squeezed and I hit 18" to the left of my hold. Midship is where it struck. I realize that a magnum caliber would have done more damage, but I have a really bad rotator cuff on my right shoulder and no magnums for me right now.Great hunt! Seems like the 243 may not be enough gun. I’m surprised they soaked up that much lead before dying.
Best of luck to ya on your hunt.Congrats to the both of you on two fine trophy's.
I am thinking of a hunt here in Northern Ontario for next year.
Get ya some!Officially envious.!
Doing the best I can with the shoulder I got. I have horsepower rifles, just taking it easy for now with the lighter side. I try to only take "good" shots, but this last one moved. They can take a serious pounding and still keep moving. I always recommend carrying the heaviest caliber "deer gun" that you can handle. The .308, 30-06, .270 etc. are not to much.
