Short term these tariffs are causing the stock market problems & will likely end up being seen in higher retail prices.Long term is anyone's guess, since we don't really know what his actual goal is. Are they being used to put pressure on other countries as a negotiating tool & will be dropped if he gets what he wants? Or are they here for the long haul as a means on incentivizing bringing manufacturing & production back to the USA? That would be good but isn't something that can just happen over night either
