Two coyotes yesterday.

On our second calling stand yesterday the fog rolled in and we could only see about 40 yards. I was laying down with my shotgun about 20 yards from my X-24. After about 15 minutes of calling I switched to MFK sound Gang Violence 16WKS. A few minutes later I heard a big male coyote huffing to the left of my X-24.

I was looking right at where the huffing sound was coming from when the big male coyote appeared out of the fog walking slowly towards my X-24. I sat up and put the coyote down with one shot of 1-1/2 oz of TSS #3 shot.

A little while later the fog started moving out.

Later in the afternoon we had a coyote come in that I couldn't see. JP7mag shot it with his 243 Win about 80 yards away.

This coyote had a white tipped tail!

We did 4 more stands and didn't call in anymore coyotes.

Hunting in the fog can be exciting but our fog not as scenic as yours.

Nice !!! Hopefully my tss #3’s work like that ! Just grabbed the shot out of my mailbox. Time to start rolling 👍

Nice pic of the fog. That is very common here but mostly in the spring and summer. Can look REALLY neat on a full moon night just before pink light in spring.

Great hunt. Congrats!

I had to do a double take on the one JP7mag is holding up. I thought it was a red fox at first glance from the color and size! Lol.

Foggy conditions seem more apt to happen during our season the last few years. Our weather patterns and crazy temperature swings can turn beautiful calling conditions into something that resembles a Scooby-Doo episode quickly when you have a snow pack and the temps shoot up quickly.
