A week or so back I went out to a newish spot, set up facing northeast, wind light from the south, caller out about 80 yards.
I sent out a few howls & waited, then finally glanced over my left shoulder & spotted a pair on the way.
Seemed like they were committed so I swung the tripod around, and plopped it on the ground hard enough to set the Foxbang off...dammit!
Got that shut off, & got the video started.
Then they decided to make a big circle around the top of the hill, & eventually started down the hill towards the caller.
After they ducked in the woods, I never saw them again.
Didn't want to shoot in the beginning, there were cattle just over the hill.
When they swung around the top of the hill, they were at 270, but I figured they were headed for the caller.
Interesting, 1 took a dump, the other pissed on it, then they repeated it a couple minutes later.
At least they didn't get educated, & hopefully I get back out there 1 more time this year.
