This is the very first I’ve seen on this property since I started out here in 2016 or 2017. All I’ve ever seen have been Cottonmouths. Heck, I FaceTimed the manager and he hasn’t seen one in about 15+ years.
They still out down here…

That's a healthy looking rattler, Spur!
I have seen pictures of blue indigos eating rattlers before, but never actually seen it.
Ran across this interesting video of an indigo taking down a rattler.

Cool video. Not what I was expecting from the Rattlesnake as far as defense goes. Almost like it was already injured. Never raised its head…
