Friend called and said they harvested the corn 2-3 days ago so gave it a shot last night. Setup on the wooded fence row, waited till it was good and dark and started with a ground hog in distress on low volume for about 3 minutes, paused probably 15 minutes and got on the ground hog call again, at the very end ramped up the volume a bit, brought it strait back down to mute. Waited about another 10 minutes and got into a lone male for 4 howls and shut her down. This one came in just a few minutes later! It's nice hunting these fields they're easy to find!
